Premiere på filmer for barn på krisesenter

– Egentlig visste jeg at det var noe galt med min far. (Carolina 18)
Carolina (18) er blant de tidligere krisesenterbeboerne i Salten som har lånt bort sin stemme til filmen «Det trygge huset». I to nye animasjonsfilmer fra Krisesenteret i Salten og Redd barna, forteller barn sin historie om det å komme på krisesenter. Filmen ble lansert på Filmens Hus i går, der barne- og likestillingsminister Solveig Horne åpnet premieren.

Fra 1992 og til og med 2015 har 43 676 barn hatt et opphold på et av landets krisesentre sammen med, i all hovedsak, mor. På krisesenteret i Salten bor det mellom 20 og 30 barn årlig, og barna tilbringer mellom 1000 og 2000 brukerdøgn på senteret hvert år. Disse barna har måtte flykte fra sitt hjem på grunn av vold, trusler og utrygge forhold.

– Ved å bruke animasjon ønsket vi å vekke interesse og ufarliggjøre temaet. Filmen skal man kunne se sammen med voksne, og man kan se den flere ganger. Vår erfaring viser at barn som kommer til krisesenteret har behov for lettfattelig informasjon. I den akutte situasjonen er det ikke alltid lett å få med seg alle opplysningene, og derfor er det viktig at informasjonen kan gjentas, sier Wanja J. Sæther, leder for krisesenteret i Salten under premierelanseringen av filmen.. –Mange av disse barna har levd i en konflikt hele livet. Det har gjort at de har blitt vant til det – og at de dessverre har lært seg å leve med det, forteller hun.

Barna trenger en enkel og forståelig forklaring på hvor de er kommet, hvorfor noen familier må dra på et krisesenter og hva som skal skje videre. Derfor har krisesenteret i Salten i samarbeid med Redd Barna laget disse to animasjonsfilmene. Her er et lite klipp:


– Dette er første gang det har blitt laget slike filmer for barn som kommer på krisesenter. Barn som kommer til krisesenteret sammen med mor, og i noen tilfeller sammen med far, kommer på grunn av ulike typer for vold. Det kan være at barna selv har vært direkte utsatt for vold både fysisk og psykisk.  Andre ganger har de vært vitne til at mor eller far har blitt utsatt for vold. Det å være vitne til vold er like alvorlig som selv å ha blitt utsatt for vold, sier leder for Krisesentersekretariatet Tove Smaadahl i sin tale under premierelanseringen.

Filmene skal gi nyankomne barn informasjon og forståelse for hva et krisesenter er, hvordan det er å være barn på krisesenter og veien fremover.Målet er at alle barn som kommer på krisesentre i Norge skal få se filmene. Foreldrene til barn som bor på krisesenter vil også kunne ha nytte av filmene, i likhet med de ansatte på sentrene. Filmene skal videre kunne brukes i veiledning, undervisning og i samarbeid med andre deler av hjelpeapparatet.
